The track is always open to the public, but if you want some professional coaching and to ride a race BMX, all you need to do is come down to one of the BMX Club training days for your first FREE session. If you like it and want to join the club just ask one of the members for an application form. For more information go to

Cyclocross can best be described as cross country on a bike. Kids' courses are normally no longer than 500m. You can compete on any type of bike in this mud filled winter sport; gears or no gears!

In 2010 the Cyclo-cross National Trophy Race was in Derby for the second year running. The main event was held at Moorway's where professional riders battles it out for the top spot. Cycle Derby and British Cycling teamed up to run an under 11 race next door at Osmaston Park

Following  on from the very successful race, Cycle Derby and Derby Mercury Cycling Club hosted a FREE cyclo cross coaching day. There was loads of FUN Off Road coaching and racing with prizes to be won!
