Bike Back Derby - Lifecycle UK

Bike Back Derby are a community bicycle recycling initiative which aims to help local people feel healthier and more connected - whilst reducing congestion and pollution. They take public donations of old and unwanted bikes, and refurbish them back into use.

The work is undertaken by prisoners at various local prisons, who work towards a Level 2 City & Guilds qualification in Cycle Mechanics.

The bikes are then sold at affordable prices to help local people start cycling, particularly those on low-income.

Due to COVID-19, Bike Back are not currently accepting donations.
